Looking at the impact of his lifestyle; Greg realized his footprint was strangling what he loved the most. Legend has it that the Canyon Kids were born by the river. The shady groves along the Snake River canyon's steep banks would be the perfect sanctuary for just about any singer songwriter with a beat up old guitar---and so it was with friends Bo Elledge and Dusty Nichols. Confined to the river, the job was to kill time with music.

Since the dawn of time, everything that has lived and breathed on this planet has been subject to the whims of Mother Nature. The nature of an adventurer is inherently rogue; typically wild in character, subject to the fancy of their imagination. We are unequivocally drawn to nature’s rawest fury and deepest mysteries.

EQUAL FOOTING

Wyoming’s remote and vast wilderness provides the perfect canvas for Alpinist’s Kim and Julia to redefine preconceptions of the feminine.

mandai

Inspired by musical adventures while traveling in Africa then by the underground dance-hall scene in Vancouver, Mandai spent countless hours elbow-deep in crates of '45s in Canada, the US and Jamaica and her selections firmly solidified her as one of the Lighta! crew's artists. She is well-known for her legendary mixes, some being all-vinyl releases which is her true love. Blending reggae/dance-hall classics with newer gems and dub plates acquired while in Jamaica, she stays loyal to the island vibes.

Fader McGavin and The Risky Livers

An indie soul band from Vancouver that loves and lives for the road. Together, they create feel-good music, soaked in classic soul and served on a 21st-century platter.– Beatroute

The Risky Livers are an OG basement country band that hails from Jackson Wyoming. Fronted by singer-songwriter Fader Mcgavin, The Risky Livers draw water from the muddy wells of outlaw country, rock and roll old guard and the honky tonk ghosts of dive bars past. McGavin is backed by the best musicians in town and the occasional drifter coming through Jackson with a guitar. The Risky sound is the music of bar fights, broken hearts, one-night stands, bullets and booze.

LIVE MUSIC

orgone

An indie soul band from Vancouver that loves and lives for the road. Together, they create feel-good music, soaked in classic soul and served on a 21st-century platter. – Beatroute

Now and always, Orgone delivers dirty, organic, California soul with heart’ music that grabs you by the collar, pulls you to your feet and shoves you wantingly onto the dance floor. It all started with two kids from the San Fernando Valley, whose shared affinity for gritty soul records of the 60s and 70s collided with the colorful music cultures brewing in Los Angeles during the late 90s. That friendship sparked a movement, and Orgone has been delivering nothing but gold to the funk faithful ever since.
